About Inmotion
Inmotion imports and distributes European industrial technology in the United States. We also help European manufacturers find, evaluate, and onboard the right US channel partners, based on how we do it ourselves, not theory.

Robert Lang and Gerald Obritzberger founded Inmotion in 2015 with a straightforward premise: the best industrial technology in the world comes from Europe, but most of it never finds a real foothold in the US. Not because the products aren't good (they often outperform their American counterparts) but because selling into the US market requires a different playbook than anywhere else.
US industrial buyers are skeptical of unknown brands. They want local support, responsive service, and someone who understands their regulatory environment. European manufacturers tend to underestimate how long channel development takes and overestimate how much a distributor will invest without proper enablement. The result: good products stuck in limbo, or deals that start strong and fall apart after the first year.
We built Inmotion to bridge that gap directly, and we started with our own products. We run a full US distribution operation, managing manufacturer relationships, rep networks, and customer accounts. We've learned what it takes to move a European product into the US market, and what it costs when you get it wrong. That experience is what backs the channel partner search service we offer other European companies. When we help a manufacturer find a US rep or distributor, we know what to look for, what to ask, and what needs to be in writing before anyone signs.
We live in this market every day, with our own capital at risk. Everything we tell a manufacturer to do, we've done ourselves first.
